VU Amsterdam Scholarships for International Students 2023/24

VU Scholarship Program (VUFP)

The VU Scholarship Program (VUFP) offers talented prospective students from outside the EU/EEA the unique opportunity to pursue a master’s degree at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. VU Amsterdam has committed to providing around 1 million euros to attract highly motivated and excellent students.

Netherlands Scholarship Program (HSP)

The Netherlands Scholarship Program (HSP) is funded by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences. Students eligible for this scholarship are students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) applying for the first year of a master’s program in the Netherlands.

Orange Tulip Scholarship (OTS)

The VU Fellowship Program funds the Orange Tulip Scholarship Program. It is now possible for meritorious students from India, Indonesia, Russia, South Africa, South Korea and Vietnam to apply for this highly selective VUFP / OTS scholarship.

Fulbright Scholarship

The Fulbright Center welcomes 20 to 25 US students to the Netherlands each year through the US Fulbright Student Program. Our programs have been changing lives for 70 years, but we have remained steadfast in our commitment to fostering transformative experiences through education and promoting mutual understanding between citizens of the United States and the Netherlands.

Orange Knowledge Program (OKP)

The Orange Knowledge Program contributes to the sustainable and inclusive development of a society by providing access to education and training to professionals and organizations in technical vocational education and training (TVET) and higher education.
