Applications are invited from suitably qualified South African students enrolled in a full-time undergraduate program at a South African tertiary institution to apply for Vodacom Scholarship Scheme.

The scholarship program is an academic merit scholarship open to first-year, second-year or third-year full-time students who intend to study or who are studying in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics fields but may not have the necessary resources for further study.

Vodacom Scholarship Program 2022 | Eligibility criteria

To be considered for the Vodacom Scholarship Program for South Africans 2022, interested applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be a South African citizen by birth.
  • Must undertake full-time undergraduate studies at a South African tertiary institution.
  • Must pass grade 12 with exception, obtaining 70% or higher in all subjects.
  • Must have obtained at least 65% average or higher if in first year of higher education or above.
  • It can apply from as early as first year (above) if you are studying at an accredited South African tertiary institution and meet all the above criteria.
