Eligibility criteria
- You must be a citizen of a country outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland.
- You must demonstrate academic talent and interest in being in an educational environment.
- You can receive an Uppsala University World Scholarship only for a master’s program at Uppsala University that is chosen as first priority (the program that you have ranked the highest of the four programs that you can choose upon admission to the University).
- You must have applied for the master’s program before the University admission deadline.
- You must meet the entry requirements for the postgraduate program you have applied for. The end of the application and your complete supporting documents must be received by the University Admissions before the deadline.
Scholarship benefits
The scholarships will cover the full cost of tuition fees for studies at Uppsala University. It is for postgraduate programs starting on 28 August 2023 and offered during the current admission round. Scholarships do not cover living expenses.

How to apply: As part of the application process for this scholarship, you must first apply for a Bachelor’s or Master’s program at Uppsala University in university admissions.se within the application period. The program at Uppsala University should be ranked as your first priority of choice. The scholarship application period starts after this step.
