University of Dundee Africa Vice-Chancellor Scholarship is available for applications from eligible and outstanding candidates who wish to enroll in a program of study at the University for the academic term 2023/2024.
The University of Dundee offers scholarships £5,000 per year of study – up to a maximum value of £25,000 – to applicants living in Africa.

DETAILS | Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship in Africa
Scholarships, bursaries, sponsorships and any other funding/support provided by any party other than the UoD are outside the scope of these Terms. Such external funding/support may be subject to conditions and eligibility criteria established by the external party awarding it.
Scholarships providing living costs will be paid in monthly installments and paid into a UK bank account. The UoD cannot issue payments to bank accounts outside the UK.
Eligibility criteria
To be eligible for the University of Dundee Vice-Chancellor’s Africa Scholarship, applicants are expected to meet the following requirements:
- Applicants must have applied to study at the University of Dundee for September 2023 and have received an Offer of full-time, on-campus employment. See Terms and Conditions for exclusions.
- Maintain international fee status as determined by the University of Dundee, which is communicated in your Offer letter.
- You currently reside in an African country as highlighted in the country list (below).
