United Nations Masters Program 2023 to Study in Switzerland

Applications are invited from qualified students interested in participating in the 61St United Nations Graduate Program 2023 are encouraged to apply for the international study program.

The United Nations Graduate Program (GSP) at Geneva is the United Nations’ longest-running educational program that has brought together and trained many thousands of young people from more than 100 countries on all continents.

United Nations Masters Program 2023 | Details

The 61st Master’s Program will be held at the Palais des Nations in Geneva, Switzerland. It will consist of lectures by representatives of the United Nations, other international organizations and NGOs, visits to institutions and work on group projects. This two-week summer course provides participants with the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the United Nations and “International Geneva” through first-hand observations, lectures, research and visits to Geneva-based institutions.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible for the United Nations Graduate Program 2023, applicants must meet the following requirements:

  • Excellent knowledge of spoken and written English is essential. As some discussions may take place in French, knowledge of French is also recommended.
  • Applicants must be between 22 and 32 years of age at the time of application.
  • Applicants must be enrolled in a master’s, master’s, or doctoral program at the time of application. Proof of winding required.
  • Those already working full-time are not eligible to apply.
  • Those who have participated in previous editions of the Master’s Program are not eligible to apply.

Application Procedures

How to apply: Interested applicants for the United Nations Graduate Program 2023 must complete an online Application and submit the following documents:

  • a copy of the applicant’s passport;
  • letter of recommendation (in English or French) from a university or government authority;
  • proof of current enrollment (at the time of application) in a master’s, master’s, or doctoral program;
  • copies of previous university degrees obtained;
  • the resume?
  • a short letter of motivation (maximum 300 words);
