Scholarships include both the University Scholarships for International Students and the Erling-Persson Scholarship for International Students in Public Health.

Umeå University scholarships for international students provide financial assistance in the form of full or partial tuition fee waivers for students enrolled in a postgraduate program at the University. The Erling-Persson Scholarship for International Students in Public Health provides full tuition waivers as well as a stipend of SEK 3000 per month to 8 new students to study public health at the University.

To be considered for the Scholarships for Non-EU/EEA Students 2023, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be a citizen of a country outside the EU/EEA and Switzerland.
  • Must have applied for admission to study public health or other eligible courses at the University
