Tulane University offers up to $23,000 need-based financial aid to eligible international students who have not already received this amount or more scholarships. Students must reapply for need-based aid each year.
In addition to the Sub-Saharan Africa Leadership Scholarship Award, international students can compete for all other available merit scholarships. please contact your admissions counselor for more information about scholarships.
Eligibility criteria
To be eligible for the Tulane University Sub-Saharan Africa Leadership Scholarship Award, applicants are expected to meet the following requirements:
- Applicants must be international students
- Applicants must be from Sub-Saharan Africa
- Applicants must be enrolled in a full-time undergraduate program at Tulane
- Applicants must have a high school diploma
- Applicants must have proof of English Language Proficiency

Application Procedures
How to apply: No additional application is required as students are recognized internally. Students may pursue any degree offered at Tulane. To apply, you must submit a CSS profiles and all necessary supporting documents.
