Track to Tasmania Scholarship for African Students at University of Tasmania 2022

The University of Tasmania welcomes applications from interested and suitably qualified candidates for Pathway to Tasmania Scholarship for International Students. This scholarship is awarded to African students who wish to study at the University.

The route to Tasmania Scholarship provides eligible African international students who report studying in 2022 with a 15% reduction in fees for the duration of their course.

To receive the scholarship, you must be a citizen of Botswana, Cameroon, Egypt, Ghana, Kenya, Morocco, Namibia, Nigeria, South Africa, Uganda, Zambia or Zimbabwe and start full-time paid study of an eligible course at the University for the first time

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible for a Track to Tasmania scholarship for international students, applicants are expected to meet the following requirements:

  • All undergraduate or Honors degree programs (excluding Bachelor of Nursing Hobart and Launceston and online-only programs). and
  • All graduate degree programs (except Master of Laboratory Medicine and fully online programs).

How to apply: Students are automatically assessed upon their submission International Student Application so you don’t need to make a separate application. Offer letters will notify applicants if they have been awarded the scholarship.
