Netflix Creative Equity Scholarships | DETAILS

Currently, many young Africans in the creative space struggle with access to adequate resources to support their journey, although there are strong academic institutions on the continent. The Netflix Scholarships aim to address this challenge by enhancing financial support for young people in Sub-Saharan Africa and empowering them to pursue knowledge and skills in the creative academic field.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible for the Netflix Creative Equity Scholarships 2022, you must meet the following eligibility criteria to be considered for the scholarship:

  • Applicants must be citizens and live in a West or Central African country (Ex. DRC).
  • Applicants must take courses related to television and film at one of the partner institutions.
  • Applicants must already be enrolled as students at the following partner institutions: National Film and Television Institute (NAFTI), Ghana. National Film Institute, Jos Nigeria; Pan Atlantic University, Nigeria; Institut Philippe Maury de l’Audiovisuel et du Cinema (IPMAC) of the EM-Gabon Université (EMGU)–Gabon group; Institut Supérieur des Métiers de l’Audiovisuel (ISMA) – Benin.
