Malaysian Technical Cooperation Program (MTCP) Scholarship 2022

The Government of Malaysia through the Embassy of Malaysia is pleased to announce the launch of the application for Malaysia Technical Cooperation Program Scholarship for international students to study in Malaysia for the 2022/23 academic session.

The MTCP Scholarship is funded by the Government of Malaysia and is dedicated to international students from developing countries to pursue Postgraduate studies in Malaysia, while at the same time acquiring the necessary knowledge and skills that could contribute to the development of their country.

Malaysia Technical Cooperation Program (MTCP) Scholarship DETAILS

The Malaysian Technical Cooperation Program (MTCP) has been established as Malaysia’s commitment to South-South Cooperation through the exchange of Malaysian development experiences and know-how with other developing countries. Annually, Malaysia offered more than 65 technical training and skills development programs under the MTCP, which have benefited more than 35,500 participants from 144 countries.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible for the MTCP 2022 Scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be an international student from MTCP recipient countries.
  • Must not be over 45 years old at the time of application.
  • Must hold at least upper secondary (honors) / CGPA 3.50 at undergraduate level.
  • Must have the required English language requirements.
  • Be willing to comply with the regulations of students receiving the MTCP Scholarship.

Application Procedures

How to apply: Applicants for the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Program (MTCP) Scholarship 2022 must complete electronic application until the application deadline, as the overdue application will not be considered.
