Offered by Lingnan University full scholarship (covers tuition, hostel and some academic and living expenses for all successful applicants. Each scholarship is offered on an annual renewable basis and is valid for a period up to the regular duration of study, subject to continued outstanding academic performance.

DETAILS Lingnan University Non-local student scholarships
Lingnan University offers a variety of scholarships to support non-native high school students pursuing full-time UGC (government-funded) undergraduate studies at the University. Successful candidates will receive one of the following scholarships:
- Full scholarship (covering tuition, hostel and partly academic and living expenses)
- Half scholarship
- Scholarship with full tuition
- Half tuition scholarship
The scholarship will be awarded depending on availability, successful candidates in the Early Round will be notified from January. Applicants are therefore encouraged to submit their applications as early as possible.
Applicants for self-funded undergraduate programs are not eligible for scholarships.
Eligibility criteria
To be eligible for non-local Lingnan University student scholarships, applicants are expected to meet the following requirements:
- Applicants must be international students
- Candidates for undergraduate studies
- Applicants must be ready for a full-time program
- Applicants must have proof of English language proficiency.
- Applicants who have a good academic standing and a good track record in community service
Application Procedures
How to apply: To apply for admission to UGC-funded (government-funded) undergraduate programs, apply through Electronic input system creating ONE application account and submitting online applications. Select “Self-funded programs” in the “Application type” section.
There is no limit to the number of program options for applying to self-funded undergraduate programs. Applicants can apply for both UGC-funded undergraduate programs and self-funded undergraduate programs simultaneously in the ONE application account.
