Applications are now invited from interested and eligible candidates worldwide for the 2023-2024 Imperial College London PhD President’s Scholarships. About 50 PhD scholarships are currently available and open to international students of all nationalities to study at Imperial College London, UK.

Eligibility Criteria | Imperial College London PhD Scholarships 2023

  • Applicants can be international students from all backgrounds and nationalities
  • Both full and part-time scholarships are available.
  • Applicants must have received or are about to receive a first class or equivalent in an undergraduate or completed graduate degree and the
  • Applicants with a standalone Master’s degree must have achieved a discrimination or, where this has not yet been achieved, be able to provide high performance evidence that will lead to discrimination.

Scholarship benefits

Each of the 50 scholarships available provides the following support during the 3.5 years of study:

  • Full funding for tuition fees
  • Scholarship of £22,900 (2023-24 rate) per annum to help with living costs
  • A disposable fund of £2,000 per year for the first 3 years of study
  • A program of personalized opportunities and events delivered by the Graduate School

Application Procedures

How to apply: Before applying you should have been in contact with a supervisor in an academic department at Imperial College London who has agreed to supervise your research project. There is no specific scholarship application form. You should submit your application for admission to study at Imperial through us online admission system and your department will recommend you for the scholarship based on academic merit and potential.
