Harambeans it is African innovators who are committed to “working together as one” to unlock Africa’s potential. It is the place where African Innovators become Harambezis and a collection of strangers become a lifelong family.

Eligibility criteria
To be eligible for Harambeans Alliance and African Innovators Scholarships, applicants are expected to meet the following requirements:
- Applicants must be of African descent or descent
- Applicants must be currently enrolled in a college or university or
- Applicants must be recent graduates and
- Applicants in the early idea stage or advanced stages of a social or business enterprise focused on or related to Africa.

Application Procedures
How to apply: Interested applicants seeking Harambeans Alliance and African Innovators Scholarships should apply online. In the Proposals section of the HBWS application, you will be asked to submit the contact information of two referees.
Once you complete the recommendation form, your referees will receive an automatic notification to complete the recommendation on your behalf. Please note that your progress to the interview stage is dependent on the submission of your proposals. Therefore, please encourage your referees to complete the recommendation form by the December 15, 2022 deadline.
