    DETAILS | Emory University Full Merit-Based ScholarshipsScholarships are renewable for a total of eight regular academic semesters of the year college student study, provided that students maintain high standards of personal and academic excellence and meet the semester and annual requirements of their program (details provided on admission).

    About 8,000-10,000 students apply to be a fellow each year. From this, 175–200 students are selected as Scholarship Finalists. Finalists must attend a Scholars Finalist Campus Visit held in the spring. Finalists are transported to campus at no cost to the student.

    Eligibility criteria

    To be eligible for Emory University Full Merit-Based Scholarships, applicants are expected to meet the following requirements:

    • Applicants must be domestic or international students
    • The scholarship is available for undergraduate program
    • Applicants must be enrolled in a full-time course of study
    • Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent
    • No additional nomination forms, essays or materials are required to be considered.
    • Applicants do not need to be referred by a high school counselor to be considered.
    • All students, regardless of nationality, can be considered for the degree programs.

    Application Procedures

    How to apply: To be considered for any and all degree programs, you must select one of three admission decision plans (Early Decision I, Early Decision II, the tactical decision) and submit all required application materials by November 15. (Early Decision applicants must apply by November 1.)

    Early Decision Students I can apply for the degree programs, but they must meet the November 1st deadline. If your ability to enroll depends on receiving a certain amount of merit-based scholarships or need-based financial aid, you are encouraged to apply Regular Decision.
