The Scholarship abroad awarded annually to students for a maximum of two years for postgraduate study (Masters (or equivalent)) or PhD in the UK at a university of the student’s choice.

Cecil Renaud Scholarship Abroad | Eligibility criteria
To be considered for the Cecil Renaud Overseas Scholarship for South Africans 2023, interested applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Applicants must have achieved or be seeking to achieve an undergraduate or Honors degree.
- Candidates who will make a significant impact in their field of study and on the world.
- Applicants must have completed secondary education and be under 27 years of age at the time of applying for the scholarship.
- Having a good track record in extra-curricular activities and drive to succeed and uplift South Africa.
